ASPAC (Asia-Pacific Conference) is the largest of the four area conferences hosted by JCI, with participants from across the Asia-Pacific region, including Japan JC.

This year’s conference took place in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. JCI Mongolia and Japan JC share a deep relationship, with Japan JC serving as the sponsor NOM.

Furthermore, this year, Mr. Keisuke Shimoyamada from Japan was elected as JCI President, and it also marked the 110th anniversary of the founding of the JCI movement.

During the event, attendees had the perfect opportunity to learn about the initiatives of JCI and its Asia-Pacific members while enjoying international exchange.

Many fellow members from various regions participated.

A variety of programs were prepared for the four-day event!

We received a grand and enthusiastic welcome during the Opening Ceremony.

The performance was dynamic and moved the hearts of the audience!

Here are Mr. Yoshitaka Yonezawa (left), President of the Junior Chamber International Obihiro, and Mr. Shoichi Hamano (right), Vice President.

They took a commemorative photo in front of the 2025 JCI Plan of Action theme: “Rise Up!”

Inside the venue, a wide range of programs were available, full of opportunities and learning experiences!

Participants were able to build essential modern-day international networks and gain new insights and perspectives by experiencing approaches to community development that differed from those of Japan JC.

Mr. Kyohei Ishii, serving as Chairperson of the JCI Academy Committee of the Junior Chamber International Japan (JCI Japan), took the stage to promote the upcoming “JCI Academy in SAITAMA,” to be held in Saitama City, Japan, from Sunday, July 6 to Friday, July 11, 2025. He delivered a speech in English!

Mr. Hamano, Vice President (center), who is serving on the International Business Promotion Committee of JCI Japan, promoted “JCI GO,” an app that helps users discover stores and services operated by JCI members around the world.

Also serving on the International Business Promotion Committee of JCI Japan as Vice Chairperson was Mr. Reo Izukura (right), Secretary of the Public Relations Strategy Committee of JCI Obihiro.

Both members supporting this committee played key roles in assisting and promoting the “NEXUS Business Forum.”

*Note: The NEXUS Business Forum is one of the official economic programs of ASPAC 2025, supporting the conference’s core themes of “Digital Transformation,” “Green Growth,” and “Entrepreneurship.” This forum focuses on entrepreneurship.

At the “Japan Night” (※), the booth was packed with many visitors and was a great success! President Yonezawa (left) was kept very busy!
※ Japan Night is a popular nighttime event held during ASPAC, where local chapters from across Japan set up booths. JC members from numerous countries gather, making it a festive, vibrant, and international celebration. Additionally, “Country Nights” are held by other nations simultaneously, adding to the international festival atmosphere.

Promotion for the 2026 JCI ASPAC in Niigata was also in full swing!

As the next ASPAC will be held in Japan, anticipation is already building and expectations are high!

A wide variety of programs were available throughout the event, offering opportunities for international exchange, learning about local history and culture, and understanding the work of overseas JCI chapters. The conference was filled with chances to grow and learn.
